Summary:Meghan Chase has never fit in at her small-town high school, and now, on the eve of her 16th birthday, she discovers why. When her half brother is kidnapped, Meghan is drawn into a fantastical world she never imagined--the world of Faery, where anything you see may try to eat you, and Meghan is the daughter of the summer faery king. Now she will journey into the depths of Faery to face an unknown enemy . . . and beg the help of a winter prince who might as soon kill her as let her touch his icy heart. The Iron King is the first book in the Iron Fey series.

My Thoughts: I loved this book. I think I was anticipating meeting Puck and Ash because of the whole Team thing so at times I got a little distracting. Oh, I have to mention I'm team Ash :).
The characters in this story were fantastic. Meaghan was a strong and great person, always wanting to help others even though she might get hurt in the process. Though I think she is a little too trusting :). Puck was one of those characters I like. He was funny but he knew when it got serious. Ash was great. His personality is the kind that I love. The silent type who doesn't want people to know what's really inside. I have a problem for falling for those types of guys. The type that ignore the girl and won't talk to her but at the first look or admittance of love he has me and I love him once again. Through out the story you are left thinking what is going on between Puck and Ash and when you find out everything makes sense even though it doesn't make anything better.. The chemistry and pull between the characters was so...gripping, for lack of a better word.
This book had great character, great story/plot, originality, it was funny, it was sweet and had it's aww moments, it had action and suspense, and overall it was a well written and fantastic book. I give it a high five out of five stars. Can't wait to read The Iron Daughter :)

5 Stars
