The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong Review

Publisher: April 1st 2010 by HarperCollins

Summary:

My name is Chloe Saunders. I'm fifteen, and I would love to be normal.

But normal is one thing I'm not.

For one thing, I'm having these feelings for a certain antisocial werewolf and his sweet-tempered brother—who just happens to be a sorcerer—but, between you and me, I'm leaning toward the werewolf.

Not normal.

My friends and I are also on the run from an evil corporation that wants to get rid of us—permanently.

Definitely not normal.

And finally, I'm a genetically altered necro-mancer who can raise the dead, rotting corpses and all, without even trying.

As far away from normal as it gets.

My Thoughts: This book picks up right where The Awakening takes off. This book is so gripping. I started it and I couldn't put it down until I finished it. This book is full of action just like the others. The love triangle finally gets resolved in this final installment and when this certain event dealing with this said love triangle happened I just couldn't help but squeel and be uber happy, at the same time though another part that involved said love triangle happened, I cried. To put it easily, I am very happy with how the person she ends up with is, I don't think that will ruin it for anyone, seeing I didn't tell anyone I was team...yeah I am not going to tell you.
In conclusion I can not write to much about this book without spoiling part of it. This was fantastically written, set at a great place, and overall awesome. I read it in one day and kept thinking about it the next day. This book has a lot of mystery/action with just enough romance to keep me and maybe some of you others out there happy. I give the FINAL installment to The Darkest Powers Series five Stars.

+5 Stars
